About Thomas Lukaschewski
I combine doctoral research in neuropsychology with university teaching, empirical methods, coaching, and practical Human-AI workflow design. The common thread is simple: make difficult work clear enough to use, explain, and defend.
Background
Thomas is completing doctoral research in neuropsychology at Ruhr University Bochum. His work examines self-incongruence in autobiographical memory, including shame, guilt, visual perspective, and narrative meaning.
His research experience spans longitudinal diary work, experimental paradigms, quantitative and qualitative analysis, mixed models in R, semantic and narrative measures, and training in EEG and fMRI methods. A diary study on shame and autobiographical memory was published in Memory in 2023.
Teaching and supervision sharpened another part of the method: helping people understand the logic behind a decision well enough to use and defend it themselves. That principle now also shapes the AI coaching, research workflow, and creative project work.
